Its always your choice, we would just like to give you some considerations so that you make the right choice.

  1.

Always check the quality of the work the artist has done previously, all artist keep photos of there work. Most is available to see on their websites, from here you can compare with other studios.

Ask around about the studios in your area, your local council will tell you if they are licensed or not. We strongly advise that you do not consider a home tattooist unless they are licensed. The rule of thumb is a cheap tattoo is not good and a good tattoo is not cheap.

Insure that the studio is using the correct sterilization procedure, if the studio is not using single use disposable needles and single use disposable plastic tips and grips then they must have a B type or S type vacuum autoclave. Without the correct autoclave metal tips and grips are not sterilized and so you risk infection from blood spores left in them from the previous customer. You can establish if the studio has a registered vacuum auto clave by contacting your local council licensing office.

Tattoos last a life time, make the right choice.
